FAQ

Investors & the diaspora

5 questions

Q1How is my money protected?

Your payment goes into a regulated escrow account, not to the developer. It is released in tranches, and each tranche is paid only after an independent monitor has verified the matching milestone on site.

Q2Can I invest from outside Nigeria?

Yes. Escropro is built for diaspora investors. Onboarding is online, and you follow your project through your dashboard and milestone reports wherever you live.

Q3How will I know my project is progressing?

Every milestone comes with geotagged, time-stamped site photos and a verification report from the independent monitor. You see the same evidence the escrow bank relies on before any money is released.

Q4What happens if a milestone fails verification?

Nothing is released. The funds stay protected in escrow while the developer corrects the work, and the milestone is inspected again. Remaining funds are handled under the terms of your project agreement.

Q5How are developers selected?

Developers and their projects are underwritten before they can raise funds on Escropro. Each one carries a BuildTrack score, so you can compare opportunities on verified facts.
